For standard duty commercial interior and exterior doors, the "AL" series utilizes the Schlage original A-series cylindrical chassis supported by a heavy duty spring cage. Certifications: ANSI A156.2, Series 4000 Grade 2. UL Listed for all functions up to 3-hour doors. Levers meet ADA standards and CA fire codes. 6 pin tumbler with 2 keys per lock. Door Range: 1-3/8" to 1-7/8" standard. Backset: 2-3/4" standard. Latches are adjustable for flat or bevelled doors. Standard square corner strike is the 10-025 with a 1-3/16" lip. Strike size is 1-1/4" x 4-7/8". Roses are wrought brass and bronze. Levers are pressure cast plated zinc. "AL" Series locks are field reversible.
